Jenis Scanner dan Fungsi Scanner

Scanner adalah alat elektronik yang berfungsi sebagai mesin fotocopy akan tetapi scanner dapat memindai dokumen dan menympannya menjadi file digital didalam komputer. Banyak orang menggunakan scanner untuk memindai foto yang sudah lama yang tidak ada softcopy nya sehingga foto yang lama tersebut bisa dijadikan file dan disimpan didalam komputer sebelum diedit untuk diperbaiki. Bisa juga digunakan untuk mengcopi dokumen penting seperti ijazah, akte kelahiran dan lain-lain.

Sampai saat ini scanner mempunyai beberapa jenis sesuai dengan bentuknya, yaitu:


Flatbed scanner
  • Flatbed scanner: scanner ini berbentuk seukurang dengan kertas folio sehingga seperti mesin fotocopy dengan ukuran yang kecil.

    Handy scanner

  • Handy scanner: scanner ini bentuknya postcard yang biasa kita jumpai pada supermarket atau minimarket karena digunakan pada mesin kasir untuk membaca harga barang yang tertera pada barcode.
